Президент Ісламської Республіки Іран підписав 17 листопада 2019 року указ про виплату компенсації громадянам, які постраждали від підвищення ціни на пальне. «Державна фінансова підтримка буде надаватись з 18 листопада поточного року», — уточнив президент, пояснюючи, що уряд змушений підвищити ціну, «інакше Ірану у найближчі два роки довелось би імпортувати бензин».
