“Today, only the lazy do not discuss the presidential, senate and other up to local elections in the United States,” V. Hvozd said at the beginning of his interview.
Although V. Hvozd’s speech was about the election of the President of the United States of America, several issues were raised that broaden the understanding of the attitude to this event not only of the Americans themselves, but also of practically citizens around the world. Including Ukrainians. As our state was often mentioned by the current US President, and the candidate for this position, Joe Biden, was not only interested in the state of affairs in Ukraine, but also supported Ukrainians in their confrontation with the “Russian world”.
“Please, pay attention to the following “regularity”: during Ukraine’s independence, there were five presidents in the United States — Bush (senior), a Republican; Clinton, a Democrat; Bush (Jr.), a Republican; Obama, a Democrat; Trump, a Republican… So the next president should be a Democrat. But will this “regularity” remain? We’ll find out soon… — V. Hvozd said half-jokingly. — But really, these elections are historic! In fact, they have already acquired a geopolitical, not just a domestic, context”.
Answering the host of the First Ukrainian Radio Roman Kolyada’s questions, the President of the “Borysfen Intel” Center explained the reason for Russia’s and China’s possible interference in the election process, reminded of modern information wars, which are now covering the globalized world, and the “chessboard” of geopolitics, at which the so-called chess players will change in case of victory of some and loss of others.
