China Has Joined the UN Arms Trade Treaty
According to reports from Beijing, China has joined the international Arms Trade Treaty. This was announced by Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Zhang Jun, who emphasized that the signing of the Treaty demonstrates China’s determination to maintain multidimensional arms control.
The world’s largest non-treaty arms manufacturer and supplier is the United States. In April last year, US President D. Trump signed a letter asking the US Senate to stop the ratification process of the Treaty.
