The Result of the Election Should Be National Unity and Cohesion

The Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran has released a list of presidential candidates in the June 18, 2021 elections. The decision of the Guardian Council of the Constitution of Iran was both very unexpected and predictable.
The list includes 7 candidates (out of 592 registered) who have the right to run for President and start the election campaign. As the result of the consideration of the registered candidates, 18 of them, representing the conservative party and factions, and 14 representatives of the reformers were disqualified.
Thus, the candidates have been selected and we should just wait for the election day. It is too early to make any predictions now, and the outcome of the election may be unexpected, as it was in 2005, when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won the election of the 6th President. We are waiting for the results of the election, where the Iranian people will make their choice for the coming years.
