Joe Biden’s Important Questions to Europe

View from Germany

The US presidential election was the main theme of international politics last week. The international community has responded positively to the election of Democrat Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States instead of unpredictable Republican Donald Trump.

Greetings to the newly elected President of the United States were sent by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, senior officials of the Bundestag, authorities of leading EU countries. Representatives of high political circles in Russia and its geopolitical satellites have not yet reacted to this event. They are probably waiting for official announcements about the election results, although qualitative changes in the counting of votes are unlikely. Therefore, Russia and its allies should bite their lips and bow to the eccentric D. Trump, obediently returning to the principled Joe Biden, who, as we remember, considered and still considers Russia the main threat to the United States.

America has voted. What does the election of Joe Biden as President of the United States mean for Europe and Germany?
