May 12, 2018, Iraq had the fifth since the beginning of the occupation and the war with the “Islamic State” elections to the Iraqi Parliament.
The winners in the parliamentary elections are now known and negotiations and consultations on the formation of the Iraqi government are under way.
Of course, this should be a coalition government composed of representatives of all religions and nationalities of the country, since none of the winners has scored the majority.
It is likely that in the near future we should expect new developments and changes, not only in Iraq but also throughout the Middle East.
