The inauguration of Iranian President-elect Ebrahim Raisi took place on August 5, 2021, in the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Tehran. As a result of the victory in the presidential election of the conservative E. Raisi, a situation arose where all branches of power in Iran are concentrated in the hands of conservatives, who now dominate the country’s political system and will certainly be able to unanimously implement all their projects both, within the country and abroad.

After the inauguration ceremony, IRI President E. Raisi briefly repeated the main aspects of his election program, emphasizing that in the context of the severe crisis between the United States, Israel and Iran, the aggravation of the situation around Iran, it is extremely needed to focus on resolving domestic problems, and to determine the future of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which negatively affects the economic and political processes in the country.

Today, it is quite difficult to predict how the situation in Iran will develop under the new President, as the military-political situation around the country is rapidly changing. The development of events is also influenced by the rather difficult socio-economic situation in Iran. It is safe to say that its domestic and foreign policy will be radically conservative.
