У «Бінтелі» — про рік, що минув, і про наші нагальні проблеми

 

 

 

У випуску четвертого, підсумкового у 2022 році номера «Бінтела» розміщені матеріали з найактуальнішої для України тематики. Авторами їх є як наші постійні дописувачі, так і іноземні аналітики, які уважно слідкують за розв’язаною росіянами війною в Україні. Порівнюючи їхні висновки з висновками наших фахівців, читач має можливість краще усвідомлювати події на українських теренах — російсько-українську війну, фронтове протистояння сторін, їх «тилову» ситуацію, а також одночасно порівняти попередні умовиводи, які робилися і задовго до бойових дій, і вже напередодні.

Під рубрикою «Геополітика і національна безпека» подаються два матеріали наших постійних авторів. Перший —  «Війна Росії проти України. Проміжні підсумки і перспективи»  за авторством Івана Січня, другий —  «Військові навчання США і НАТО — як відповідь та стримування Росії»  за підписом Юрія Михайленка.

Зрозуміло, що обидва матеріали, так би мовити, орієнтують нас у військовому протистоянні російському нападникові. А ще — звертають увагу на реакцію наших іноземних прихильників, про яку хоч і повідомляється щоденно нашими ЗМІ, але час від часу така тема має доповнюватися. Наприклад, автори матеріалу  «Загадка кривавого беZумства. Ідеологія «Великого переходу»  Володимир Шевченко і Андрій Саварець вже порушували таку тему у попередніх номерах журналу, а зараз вирішили зробити це ще раз, оскільки актуальність її надзвичайна, як і певна оригінальність викладеного змісту. Вже у самому заголовку наявність латинської літери Z підказує читачеві, про що тут йдеться, і додатково уточняється словосполученням «Великий перехід», що стосується нашого російського, м’яко кажучи, «невгамовного сусіда».

Не менш цікава (бо актуальна) стаття кандидата географічних наук Володимира Грицевича, яку він підготував на наше прохання, під заголовком  «Демографія України після 2014 року та суміжні проблеми». 

Зрозуміло, що не лише війна впливає на нашу демографію. Адже певні демографічні показники вже давно, так би мовити, характеризують українське суспільство, оскільки воно перебудовується під впливом багатьох багаторічних суспільних негараздів. До таких нині відноситься і трагедія багаторічної російсько-української війни, через яку у мільйонів українців змінюється не лише місцеперебування, а й, за великим рахунком, їхні долі. Якими будуть наслідки таких процесів? Чи вдасться українській нації зберегти свою ідентичність? І як це зробити під впливом геополітичних подій? Деякі відповіді на такі запитання читач знайде у запропонованій Володимиром Грицевичем статті.

Ще одна, не менш важлива для нашого суспільства тема висвітлюється у статті відомого вченого Олександра Сагана  «Гібридний характер статусу й діяльності Української православної церкви Московського патріархату».  Кілька років тому у своєму інтерв’ю для «Бінтела» автор розповідав про підґрунтя церковного протистояння в Україні, передбачав його складність чи навіть проблеми, що нині охопили церковні справи, і закликав до цього бути готовими. І ось зараз у статті розкриваються причини негативу, називаються їх «автори» і, як і колись, застерігається стосовно того, що може відбуватися у суспільстві, коли його не контролювати і не убезпечувати від впливу різних «доброзичливців».

На початку вже згадувалося, що наші постійні автори у своїх матеріалах 4-го номера «Бінтела» підбивають підсумки минулого року, у якому почалася активна фаза воєнного протистояння України з РФ.

Про це ж йдеться і у статті румунського автора Джорджа-Вадима Таюджі  «Погляд на війну Путіна в Україні».  Вперше він звертався до цієї теми наприкінці минулого року на сторінках журналу Міжнародного інституту близькосхідних і балканських досліджень. Нині, працюючи у Бухарестському університеті, не полишає аналітичної діяльності, присвячуючи чимало часу вивченню причин російського воєнного нападу на Україну, прогнозуючи подальші події і з одночасним намаганням не просто їх передбачити, але й застерегти декого від закликів довіряти Росії. Зрозуміло, що має для цього певні підстави, адже стажувався в офісі президента Парламентської асамблеї ОБСЄ, координував роботу відділу міжнародних відносин Європейської школи Овідіу Сінкаї в мережі інститутів політичних досліджень Ради Європи. А ще він відомий, як автор або співавтор спеціалізованих робіт і статей у сфері міжнародних відносин, політичних ідеологій, безпеки, зовнішньої політики, етнічних конфліктів і партизанської війни.

Окрема розмова — про аналітичну статтю групи українських вчених  «Коли перебої з постачанням електрики не страшні»,  де викладається їхнє бачення того, як можна запобігти енергетичним кризам в Україні. Щодо авторів допису, то це, окрім О. Васильєва, його колеги-вчені Є. Бродніковський, О. Осташ, І. Полішко, В. Подгурська, А. Носик, М. Гадзира, Д. Бродніковський. Під рубрикою «Енергетична безпека» вони розповідають про роботи у такому напрямі, що відомий давно, але напрацювання не використовують чи не з суб’єктивних причин. А ось коли у розв’язаній росіянами війні завдаються удари по критичних структурах і населення вимушене довгий час перебувати без електроенергії, коли українці, які потерпають, змушені звертатися до Заходу по допомогу, коли наші АЕС перестають працювати через знаходження там російських військових, чиї пояснення нагадують слова божевільних, коли РФ перекриває подачу газу гозогонами, сподіваючись зламати опір наших громадян, тоді мимоволі починається пошук виходу з такої ситуації, яку слід було передбачити щонайменше десятиліття тому і чого не робилося з багатьох причин. Передусім лише тому, що це не давало б декому прибутку.

Автори пояснюють, що є в основі винаходів, за допомогою яких можна не лише відчутно скоротити використання природних копалин, а навіть від них відмовитися. І тоді щезне потреба звертатися до домінуючих на паливному ринку олігархів, економічне виробництво дістане новий поштовх, та і саме існування людства набуде іншого, позитивного відтінку.

До речі, у своїй статті автори не могли не розповісти, як нова технологія може використовуватися (і вже використовується!) у воєнному забезпеченні. Так, у статті є підзаголовок «Паливно-комірчані енергетичні системи у війську». Саме у цій частині статті читачі можуть ознайомитися з новими видами техніки, що активно використовується військовослужбовцями передових армій, а також побачити фотографії такої техніки і відповідного озброєння. Наприклад, безшумні паливно-комірчані мотоцикли; роботизований PackBot UGV AM з паливно-комірчаною системою, що спроможний за 12 годин подолати 64 км; безпілотний літачок Stalker XE, який живиться від батареї керамічних комірок; переносний генератор потужністю 20 Вт у рюкзаку (переносна система, яка посіла 2-ге місце у конкурсі міністерства оборони США у 2008 році на найлегше джерело електричного струму).

Словом, автори знаються на потребах в тому числі і нашого війська. А такі потреби пізнаються у найважчих місцях фронту.

“BINTEL” — about the past year and our urgent problems

 

 

The fourth, final issue of “BINTEL” in 2022 contains materials on the most relevant topics for Ukraine. Their authors are both our regular contributors and foreign analysts who closely monitor the war unleashed by the Russians in Ukraine. Comparing their conclusions with the assessments of our experts, the reader can better understand the events in the Ukrainian territories — the Russian-Ukrainian war, the front-line confrontation of the parties, their “rear” situation, as well as compare the conclusions drawn long before the hostilities with those made on the eve.

Under the heading “Geopolitics And National Security”, two materials by our regular authors are presented. The first is Ivan Sichen’s  “Russia’s War Against Ukraine. Preliminary Assessments and Perspectives”,  the second is  “US and NATO Military Exercises As a Response and Containment of Russia”  by Yurii Mykhailenko.

Both materials orient us in the military confrontation with the Russian attacker. Moreover, they draw attention to the reaction of our foreign supporters, which, although reported daily by our media, from time to time such a topic should be supplemented. For example, the authors of the material  “Mystery of the Bloody MadneZZ. Ideology of the “Great Transition”  Volodymyr Shevchenko and Andrii Savarets have already raised the theme in previous issues of the journal, now they decided to do it again, since its relevance is extraordinary, and so is the certain originality of the stated content. Already in the title itself, the presence of the Latin letter Z tells the reader what is being said here, and is additionally clarified by the phrase “Great Transition”, referring to our Russian “restless neighbor”.

No less interesting (because relevant) is the article by Ph.D. in Geography Volodymyr Hrytsevych, which he prepared at our request and entitled  “Demographics of Ukraine After 2014 and Related Problems”. 

It is clear that it is not the war alone that affects our demographics. After all, certain demographic indicators have long characterized the Ukrainian society, as it is being rebuilt under the influence of many years of social turmoil. These now include the tragedy of the long-term Russian-Ukrainian war, due to which millions of Ukrainians change not only their whereabouts, but, by and large, their fates as well. What will be the consequences of such processes? Will the Ukrainian nation manage to preserve its identity? And how to do it under the influence of geopolitical events? The reader will find some answers to these questions in the article by Volodymyr Hrytsevych.

Another topic, no less important for our society, is covered in known scientist Oleksandr Sahan’s article  “Hybrid Nature of the Status and Activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate”.  A few years ago, in an interview to “BINTEL”, the author spoke about the basis of the church confrontation in Ukraine, foresaw its complexity or even problems that now engulfed church affairs, and called to be prepared for this. And now the article reveals the reasons for negativity, names their “authors” and, as before, warns about what can happen in society when it is not controlled and not protected from the influence of all sorts of “well-wishers”.

At the beginning, we already mentioned that our regular authors in their materials of the 4^th issue of “BINTEL” sum up the results of last year, in which the active phase of the military confrontation between Ukraine and the Russian Federation began.

The same is stated in the article by the Romanian author George-Vadim Tiugea  “A Look at Putin’s War in Ukraine”.  He first addressed this topic late last year at the pages of the journal of the International Institute for Middle East and Balkan Studies. Working at the University of Bucharest, he does not give up analytical activities, devoting a lot of time to studying the reasons for the Russian military attack on Ukraine, forecasting further events and at the same time trying not only to predict them, but also to warn some against calls to trust Russia. It is clear that he has some grounds for this, because he worked as intern within the office of the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and as a political science researcher at the Ovidiu Sincai Social Democratic Institute, where he coordinated the International Relations Department and was project manager of the Ovidiu Sincai European School, within the network of Council of Europe’s schools of political studies. He has been editor, author or co-author of specialized papers and articles in the field of international relations, political ideologies, security, foreign policy, ethnic conflicts and guerrilla warfare.

A separate conversation is about the analytical article by a group of Ukrainian scientists  “When Power Outages Do Not Frighten”,  which sets out their vision of how energy crises in Ukraine can be prevented. As for the authors of the publication, it was written by O. Vasiliev, his fellow scientists Ye. Brodnikovskyi, O. Ostash, I. Polishko, V. Podhurska, A. Nosik, M. Hadzyra, D. Brodnikovskyi. Under the heading “Energy Security”, they talk about work in the direction that has been known for a long time, but the developments are not used for subjective reasons. But when in the war unleashed by the Russians, there are strikes on critical infrastructure and the population is forced to be without electricity for a long time, when the Ukrainians who suffer are forced to turn to the West for help, when our nuclear power plants stop working due to the presence at NPPs of the Russian military, whose explanations resemble the words of the insane, when the Russian Federation cuts off the gas supply by gas pipelines, hoping to break the resistance of our citizens, then there begins seeking a way out of a situation that should have been foreseen at least a decade ago but that was not done for many reasons. First of all, only because it would not give profit to someone.

The authors explain what lies in the basis of inventions, with the help of which it is possible not only to significantly reduce the use of natural resources, but even to give them up. And then there would be no need to turn to the oligarchs dominant in the energy market, economic production would get a new impetus, and the very existence of mankind would acquire a different, positive connotation.

By the way, in their article, the authors could not help telling how the new technology could be used (and is already used!) in military sphere. For example, there is the subtitle “Military Fuel Cell Energy Systems” in the article. It is in this part of the article that readers can get acquainted with new types of equipment that are actively used by servicemen of advanced armies, as well as see photos of such equipment and relevant weapons. For example, silent fuel cell motorcycles; mobile robot PackBot UGV AM with a fuel cell system capable of covering 64 km in 12 hours; unmanned aerial system Stalker XE powered by a ceramic cells battery; portable generator with a power of 20 W in the backpack (ranked 2^nd in the US Department of Defense competition in 2008 for the lightest source of electric current).

In a word, the authors are aware of the needs, including those of our troops. And such needs are learnt in the most difficult places of the front.
