An Irreparable Loss of “Borysfen Intel” Centre

Today, May 28, 2021, the heart of Victor Hvozd, President of the Independent Analytical Center for Geopolitical Studies “Borysfen Intel”, stopped beating prematurely. He died tragically at the age of 62.

 

Lieutenant General Victor Hvozd was the Head of Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (2008–2010) and the Head of Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (2014–2016).

Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Doctor of Military Sciences, author of scientific monographs, books and numerous publications on national security, international relations and geopolitics. Since May 2016, Victor Ivanovych had headed the Independent Analytical Center for Geopolitical Studies “Borysfen Intel”, created on his initiative back in 2012.

 

Our sincere condolences to Victor Ivanovych’s family, to all his relatives, colleagues and like-minded people with whom he served and worked hard for the benefit of Independent Ukraine and its people.
