Russia is trying to push the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbas and in Kherson region. The mobilized are thrown into battle. However, it is not possible to get noticeable results, so the enemy resorts to energy terrorism. Military expert Ivan Sichen told about this in a comment to Gazeta.ua.
“The hottest spots are the Bakhmut direction, Avdiivka, Vuhlehirsk, Soledar, as well as the right bank of Kherson region. The Russians are trying to advance there. We are confidently restraining the enemy, despite the fact that they have brought many mobilized. Russians are forced to buy their own uniforms, ammunition and even food rations. Prisoners are being mobilized. And at the front, fights and murders between them begin”, says Sichen.
It will be difficult for Ukraine due to the large number of the Russian mobilized, the expert emphasizes.
There are about 200 thousand of the mobilized. The Russians will increase their attacks in the Donbas. And in Kherson region. But in general, one gets an impression that the mobilized are being thrown as cannon fodder. However, the Kremlin cannot do anything on the front. They have been attacking Bakhmut for four months. These are actually local hostilities. That is why the Russians are trying to destroy our power plants and heating plants with missiles. But we go on living, and they won’t defeat Ukrainians”, adds Sichen.
Instead, Ukraine is also responding, the expert says.
“Strikes were made on heating networks in the occupied Crimea, Belgorod, and Kursk. The regions of Russia near our borders have already turned into a war zone. The Russians will send new reservists to the front, but they cannot do anything. There are concerns that conscripts are being sent to Belarus. From there they can start a new offensive. But it is also doomed to failure, because the border is closed”, explains Sichen.

The total combat losses of Russia as of the morning of November 2 are more than 73,270 people. During the day, the ranks of the “200”s were replenished with 800 more Russian invaders, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported. The enemy suffered the greatest losses on the Avdiivka and Lyman directions. |
